Our objective is to provide a safe platform where these children can connect, interact, and support each other. Additionally, Starfly offers engaging activities like coloring and drawing to enhance their mental well-being. Finally, the app securely shares insights from children's engagement with children's parents and their physicians with the purpose of getting children appropriate support for their mental health and well being.

 

Safeguarding Personal Information

We employ strict security measures to protect your child's personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Our app utilizes industry-standard encryption protocols to ensure the secure transmission of data.

 

User Responsibilities

Users must be between the ages of 6 to 15 years and have chronic medical conditions to access the app.
Parents or legal guardians must provide consent for their child to use the Starfly app. Users must adhere to the community guidelines and respect the privacy and well-being of others.

 

Privacy and Data Security

Starfly takes privacy seriously and implements strict measures to protect user data. We collect limited personal information necessary for app functionality,The insights from the children activities can be used in one of the following ways:
The respective parents and physicians of the children can be provided insights based on children engagement on the platform with the purpose to support children with their mental health and well being.
Anonymised data can be used to assist research institutes to assist them in improving their research to assist such children with their mental health.
Users have the right to access, review, and request the deletion of their personal information. For any concerns regarding data privacy, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

 

Content and Intellectual Property

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for monitoring their child's activities on Starfly and ensuring their safety while using the app. Parents are required to provide required documentation to enable children below age 13 to be on the platform to meet COPPA requirements.

Starfly strives to provide a safe and enjoyable user experience but cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the app's content or functionality.
